If you are debating which of our Assisted Reset Trigger's to get for your KRISS Vector here is a little more information for you to hopefully help you make the decision best for you! 

The RATL-R is a three-position system consisting of Safe > Semi > ASSISTED RESET. Because the RATL-R shares the standard semi-automatic function within the same mechanism, the reset window is inherently narrower than that of the Mamba Trigger. This requires a more deliberate trigger squeeze and reset technique, as the operator must remain within that reset window to maintain the assisted reset function. Many experienced operators appreciate this system, but it does require a bit more familiarity with the platform and trigger control.

The Mamba Trigger, on the other hand, is a two-position system consisting of Safe > ASISTED RESET and was designed to provide a much larger reset window. This makes the reset easier to maintain throughout the firing cycle and generally requires less conscious attention to trigger technique. While it still benefits from proper practice and familiarity, many users find it to be the more forgiving and intuitive of the two systems.

One feature both systems share is an integrated compliance measure. If excessive rearward pressure is maintained on the trigger, the reset function is intentionally interrupted. This is a deliberate safety and compliance feature engineered into both products to ensure they continue to require a separate, intentional trigger pull for every shot fired. In other words, the operator cannot simply pull and hold the trigger to continue firing. 

The Mamba generally requires less refinement in trigger technique while still providing an excellent shooting experience. It offers a more forgiving reset window, allowing new users to spend more time enjoying the platform and less time focusing on maintaining the precise trigger control that the RATL-R requires.

That said, regardless of which system you choose, I always encourage operators to spend time becoming familiar with it. The KRISS Vector has a unique operating system compared to most firearms, and our trigger systems build upon those characteristics. Taking the time to practice with the system and learn its operation will provide the best overall experience.
